$28.70 - $30.88 per hour + 25% casual loading - Casual - OPS2
Joining our team of dedicated and caring professionals, you will provide care services in the community which supports clients to maintain independence in their own homes. Providing high quality direct personal care to clients, you will assist them with hygiene, nutrition, comfort, dressing and mobilisation according to care plans and within the boundaries of your education and training undertaken. You will support and supervise clients and liaise closely with the Commonwealth Home Support Program Coordinator, case managers and carers regarding care plans and review of clients’ needs.
You will have prior experience in the provision of a direct care service in a health related field, including dealing with aged, frail or disabled persons. Demonstrating the ability to perform under limited direction, you will work well within a team environment and be able to communicate effectively with people from a diverse range of backgrounds. Along with a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality, you will display empathy towards the elderly and the disabled, and be willing to develop a positive rapport with clients and their families.
