Form of workI am a woman in my 30s living independently in the community of Torrens Park. I enjoy getting out and catching up with friends and family. I am a seasoned traveler, and I love to sing. I enjoy learning Braille, and my goal is to one day, teach others how to use it. I live with my guide dog and many technical aids that enable me to live a full and independent life.
I direct my own support and I’m looking for a new SUPPORT WORKER to join my long-term and dedicated support team, who assist me in all aspects of my daily life – and support me to live out my vision for a good life.
My team supports me over 7 days PER WEEK; I am looking for someone to support me for 2 shifts a week with some backfilling when other workers are on leave:
- Monday Shift: 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm
- Friday Shift: 8:30 am to 10:30 am
The role starts at level 2.1 casual rate of $40.26 per hour.
All applicants must have or willingness to obtain:
- Driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- A current NDIS worker check
- First Aid Certificate
