About the Team and the Role
The team you will join is welcoming and knowledgeable and ready to collaborate to continually improve our systems and processes.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to utilise your skills in the area of Community Transport, to
provide safe, careful and responsible transport to older people, people who are frail, younger people living with disability and their carers.
Your day-to-day work will involve providing safe, careful and responsible transport to older people or people who are
frail.
We are looking for someone with a positive outlook and who can make our clients feel at ease.
About You
With demonstrated experience transporting frail and younger people with disability,
and a good understanding of the needs of these individuals you will be committed to quality customer service.
To be successful in this role, you will have good organisational skills and an ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
In addition to the above, you will also hold a Class LR Driver Licence or higher and a Public Vehicle Bus Drivers Authority, hold a clean driving record, have experience in driving Light Rigid vehicles (manual and/or automatic) with a GVM of more than 4.5 tonnes, but not more than 8 and a valid Working with Children Check.
This position is subject to a National Police Check and driving assessment undertaken by Council.
