Companion Carer - Charters Towers

We are currently seeking Companion Carers who are enthusiastic and passionate about providing a caring, compassionate, respectful and high quality service. 

Our priority is to help our clients live independently at home. 

Right at Home Companion Carers provide various services to our clients including, but not limited to: domestic assistance, meal preparations, medication prompting, social and welfare support, transport, respite care and community access. 

We offer services from Monday - Sunday, making us Charters Towers' leading 24/7 Service Provider. For this reason - availability on afternoons/evenings and weekends is highly desirable.

Working Hours: 
We can offer flexible working hours and days. 

• Australian National Police check or ability to obtain prior to start date 
• Current first aid and CPR certificate or willingness to obtain prior to start date 
• Smart mobile phone
• Driver’s licenceand your own car with full comprehensive insurance or willingness to obtain prior to start date 
• Blue card or ability to obtain prior to start date 

• A passion for respectfully empowering and caring for people
• Ability to provide personal and domestic care
• Willingness to learn new skills, step out of your comfort zone and accept feedback
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Flexible with changes to shifts and working times
• Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
• High level of time management and organisational skills
• Willingness to participate in further education opportunities 
• Basic experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, and use of emails.
