As a Complex Claims Specialist, you'll manage a portfolio of Complex Claims and act as a subject matter expert for the wider team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Complex Claims resolutions, with experience in IDR/EDR processes. This role requires the ability to interpret intricate policy wordings and a background in either broking or claims management.Your role also includes:
- Manage a diverse portfolio spanning various sectors and products including liability, construction, heavy motor, personal injury, and professional indemnity.
- Collaborate closely with a team of Claims Specialists, providing informal mentoring and support.
- Work closely with Account Managers and Directors, offering technical expertise to facilitate effective communication and resolution
- Technical expertise across a full suite of claim types, including liability, construction, heavy motor, and PI
- Experience within a broking environment preferred but open to an insurer/agency background too
- Strong interpersonal skills with the capacity to mentor and support team members.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply policy wordings effectively.
