COMPUTER NETWORK AND SYSTEMS ENGINEER Full time / Open from 16th Jan 2024 Salary range: $70,000-90,000 Benowa, Gold Coast QLD Who are we? We are innovative and use the most modern digital technology and advances in treatment. Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and maintaining networks and servers across all our sites.
• Providing end-user support to our staff across our 4 locations, managing and prioritizing tasks effectively to ensure business continuity.
• Checking and maintaining backups and replications across our systems.
• Keeping software and Systems up to date with advancements and best practices within IT administration.
• Liaising between 3rd party vendors and company management to maintain and improve products and services as required.

Prerequisites:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering.
• Extensive experience with IT systems, networks, and related technologies.
• Solid understanding of IT best practices and security standards.
• Experience working in a multi-site environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft 365 administration

Skills:

• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, NAT etc.)
• Microsoft 365 Configuration and Adminstration (Exchange Online, Teams, Sharepoint, Azure Active Directory, etc.)
• Experience with Windows 10/11 deployment, administration, troubleshooting, etc.
• Experience with local Windows Server environments, client/server software topology, Active Directory, UAC, etc.
• Experience working with backup and disaster recovery solutions and processes.
• Experience working in virtualised server environments (specifically VMWare)
• Multi-site networking (IPSec, VPNs, firewall configuration, routing, etc.)
• Experience with VOIP systems, particularly 3CX.
• Experience using RMM tools for remote support, patching, scripting, etc.
• Intermediate PowerShell scripting knowledge.
• Microsoft Azure capabilities (VM Computing, networking, IPsec VPN, Azure Virtual Desktop)
• Experience with Linux servers (specifically for Wireguard VPN server configuration and maintenance)
• Experience with local storage solutions (NAS systems, ISCSI, RAID, etc.)
• Previous experience in imaging and orthodontic software (Ortho2 Edge, Dolphin, Sidexis).
