You will provide first level technical and customer support to the user community across multiple Lockheed Martin Programs. You will be required to analyse technical issues and resolve or escalate in a timely manner, in accordance with agreed service level agreements. You will conduct daily monitoring and health check activities to identify and escalate system issues to avoid or reduce service degradation. You will be working in conjunction with the ICT Sustainment Lead, broader ICT and Tools team to provide ICT support on Lockheed Martin Project Systems.
This role will be based at Mawson Lakes, South Australia.
Your responsibilities will include:
In this role, you will:
- Support the actioning of tickets on Service Desk queues ensuring completion within SLAs.
- Assist with 1st and 2nd level support for Windows and Linux virtualised desktop environments.
- Assist with 1st level support for Applications, Windows and Linux Servers, Networking, Storage, Backups, and UPS.
- Proven troubleshooting and problem resolution on physical and virtual ICT environments.
- Support daily monitoring of backup activities, daily tape changes.
- Support daily monitoring of infrastructure management tools.
- Update AV and Security definitions on air-gapped Project Networks.
- Support and conduct IT asset audits and disposals.
- Support installation and configuration of end user devices (Thin Clients, Workstations, Monitors, KVM’s).
About you:
To be successful in securing this position, you will have:
- Good Experience in a Help\\Service Desk or Systems Administration position or a relevant IT degree or TAFE qualification.
- Good experience with account and group management using Active Directory.
- Good understanding of ICT Security concepts as it applies to Classified Defence Environments (as per ISM, Essential 8, PSPF, DSPF, Industry and Vendor Best Practices).
- Good ability to follow and provide updates to documented processes and work instructions.
- Good knowledge of ITIL Service Management Practices.
- Good experience on Defence ICT systems.
- Good experience working in a team environment.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline from a recognised institution and/or relevant experience within the Defence sector
Special Requirements:
Applicants are required to be Australian Citizens and hold a current or re-instatable Baseline with the view to obtain an NV1 Defence Security Clearance.
