  • Conduct hands-on equipment training using approved training and assessment documentation.
  • Maintain training and assessment materials by promptly identifying and incorporating any necessary changes to keep them up-to-date.
  • Uphold training systems and processes in line with established standards and procedures through comprehensive analysis and review (CDMS).
  • Contribute to the department’s induction and onboarding training processes to ensure they are relevant and current.
  • Record all training and assessment activities on the site LMS for effective monitoring, management, and planning purposes.
  • Utilize "Learning Central" to conduct training gap analyses against current role descriptions, identifying training needs for shift personnel as per schedule or training coordinator's requests.
  • Maintain personal competency levels and skills to ensure compliance with training and competency standards.
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders in Ore Processing to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Work closely with counterparts to ensure standardization and consistency across crews, adhering to the training and assessment plan for technicians.
  • Conduct training and assessment sessions for departmental On Job Trainers, providing coaching and ongoing support to maintain required standards.
  • Conduct area familiarizations for personnel entering the Ore Processing plant, adhering to designated induction days.
  • Develop a training matrix based on crew-level structure, succession planning, and the training and development of technicians and leading hands aligned with MOS principles.

You will also possess the following:

  • Previous experience in mining operations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities for clear instruction delivery and effective teamwork facilitation.
  • Proactive mindset for identifying improvement opportunities and executing necessary adjustments.
  • Dedication to safety adherence, ensuring the well-being of oneself and others by following safety protocols and regulations.
  • Skill in collaborating with team members, delegating tasks effectively, and cultivating a harmonious work atmosphere.
