Job Description
- Supervise and support of the Concierge team.
- Provide quality service to guests by responding to their requests promptly, efficiently and courteously.
- Ensure strict procedures are followed in regards to guest transportation, luggage collection and storage, and guest confidentiality.
- Ensure effective communication of new and updated information regarding policies, rates and general hotel information.
- Have excellent product knowledge and use every opportunity to promote Hotel facilities and maximise sales.
- Teaching and sharing your knowledge and passion with the team.
- Problem solving –you never know what’s going to happen but you need to try solve any issues that arise.
- Be proficient in the use of all front and back office equipment.
- Have a positive and outgoing personality - we want someone who is going to make the most out of a situation.
- Genuinely like people, be curious and open-minded
- Excellent communication skills, and a strong focus on guest satisfaction
- Have a deep understanding of Sydney's sights and hidden gems
- The ability to work various shifts, including nights and weekends
- Be able to lead by example, is hands on and can instil a sense of fun in the workplace
- Ideally have previous experience as a Concierge Team Leader or Supervisor
- Knowledge of Opera Cloud (Desirable)
