This is an excellent opportunity to use your civil maintenance experience and concreting knowledge in our Kerb and Footpath Maintenance Team.

The successful applicant will have the ability to communicate effectively, a strong attention to detail, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and develop their concreting skills in a team environment.

Your Key responsibilities and duties will include:

• Boxing up formwork for the construction of concrete footpaths, kerbs, inverts, crossovers, ramps, junction boxes and other structures
• Concrete work – general placement, screeding of concrete using a variety of finishing tools
• Backfilling and reinstatement of verges after works
• General civil construction, maintenance, and labouring duties

The successful applicant will have:

• Significant experience in Civil Concrete Construction or in a similar type of organisation
• Experience in kerbing, pram ramps, cross-overs, and spoon drains
• MR Licence or above
• A Can-do attitude and willingness to learn!

This is a Grade 3-4 position, depending on experience and qualifications which has a current salary range of $79,160 - $80,207 (plus Super).
