Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Greater Brisbane Area. As a Concrete Field Tester at KCT, you will be responsible for performing various tests on the freshly poured concrete and reporting the results to the project manager. Your day-to-day tasks include conducting slump tests, air content tests, casting of specimens and various other types of tests, according to AS1012 and other relevant standards. You will work closely with the project manager to ensure that the concrete used in construction projects meets the required standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in the construction or concrete industry, and familiar with how concrete is mixed and poured
• Able to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
• Able to pay close attention to detail and accurately record data
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to report test results accurately and clearly to project managers is preferred however training will be provided
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges as needed
• Certification in testing materials is a plus, but not required
• Valid driver's license
