ABOUT YOU
If you have a mechanical or electrical background and/or a strong affinity for the trades, are interested in new technology, are a team player and are able to work independently, we should talk.
You will be willing to travel interstate, have a can-do attitude, be flexible, a trouble-shooter and have the capacity to prepare written reports based on your fieldwork results.
If you are new to the industry, we are able to support your Traineeship Pathway through industry-specific education and on-the-job training.
ABOUT THE ROLE(S)
We are looking for people interested in a career within the materials handling sector. Our clients are predominantly in quarries, ports and mining industries. This opportunity is to be based at our new premises in Beresfield.
The successful applicants will:
- Travel to site to perform Condition Monitoring of conveyor belts using specialised equipment
- Under initial direction, fabricate field service and monitoring equipment to drawings and specifications
- Prepare reports
- Assist in day-to-day operations in the workshop and office
- Be a productive, flexible and reliable addition to our small and dedicated team of CBM professionals
To be considered for this role, you will meet the following SELECTION CRITERIA:
- You must be able to pass a Pre-employment Medical and Drug and Alcohol screening
- Willing and able to learn new skills and participate in training both in-house and where applicable, via third-party providers
- Hands-on experience in mechanical and/or electrical componentry or a demonstrated interest in these fields
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Computer literate, demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Excel and Word
- Proven ability to work as part of a dynamic team and independently
- Willingness and ability to travel (current manual driver's licence essential)
