Due to growth in the company Borg Manufacturing Oberon are looking for a Conditioning Monitoring Technician to join our team.
The Condition Monitoring Technician will be responsible for maintaining the site analysis programs including vibration, oil, mechanical/electrical thermography, and water quality for steam generators.
To be successful in this role, applicants will be responsible for:
- Condition monitoring tasks to detect faults in their infancy, correct in a planned manner and maximise process online efficiency.
- Analysing Oil Sampling regime currently in place to recommend which plant we may be over or under servicing with this technique and develop future Maintenance strategy.
- Monitoring Oil test results and recommend best course of action, create PM tasks, and follow through to completion.
- Understanding and interpreting vibration spectrums.
- Understanding of Laser alignment and balancing would be advantageous.
- Active involvement in root cause analysis (RCA) programs as directed.
- Assisting in planning, scheduling, performing fault repairs detected from the conditioning monitoring programs.
