About the Role

We are searching for a dedicated professional with a background in sales and servicing of Condition Monitoring solutions to join their team in Australia. This role will be based in Melbourne and will require frequent domestic and international travel. As a combined Sales and Service Support role, you will leverage both your sales expertise and Condition Monitoring knowledge. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining optimal solutions for their customers while understanding the significance of assisting them in achieving their business objectives. With a customer-centric approach and innovative thinking, you will enhance their services to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Service-Based Tasks:
  • Provide remote and on-site installation and technical product support for global customers, including onshore and offshore installations.
  • Service vibration protection & Condition Monitoring solutions by configuring, optimizing, troubleshooting, and providing training to operators and machine maintenance specialists.
  • Deliver technical product training to customers and address issues across the entire system, from instrumentation to software solutions.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective resolution of system issues.
  • Support project delivery from engineering phases to commissioning on customer sites.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and escalate technical issues as needed.
Sales-Based Tasks:
  • Execute the company's sales and marketing strategies, adapting them to regional market requirements.
  • Implement the channel partner strategy, customize it for the region, and manage partner contracts.
  • Cultivate partner relationships to sustain and enhance regional sales performance.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed order entry targets.
  • Negotiate and close profitable deals for Condition Monitoring solutions.
  • Foster collaboration with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
  • Utilize the CRM system to manage pipelines, customer activities, and new business opportunities.
Skills and Experience:
  • University Degree in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering or related field experience.
  • 1-5 years of experience in sales and servicing of Condition Monitoring Solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of instrumentation, networks, and IT.
  • Proficient in technical troubleshooting and follow-through.
  • Good understanding of measurements & vibration monitoring of rotating machinery.
  • Preferred certification: ISO 18436-1 / 2 (e.g. Mobius Institute) CAT II Vibration Analysis or higher.
  • B2B sales experience in an industrial environment preferred.
  • Passion for customer engagement and relationship-building.
  • Comfortable with international travel and adapting to different cultures.
  • Keen interest in new technologies and continuous learning.
  • Excellent fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Experience within oil & gas & power industries is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • University Degree in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering or related field experience.
