Pacific Industrial Company has opportunities for a Construction &Completions Engineerto join our project located in Broomehill WA. The Constructions & Completions Engineer will play a critical role in the smooth and efficient delivery of this project. You will be the site-based person reporting back to the office-based team.

• 11:3 Roster (Every second Friday - Sunday RNR)
• Dayshift only 
• Accommodation supplied by PIC 
• Meal Allowance

ABOUT YOU:

• 5+ years’ experience as an project engineer
• Hold a current Australian engineering qualification
• Ability to interpret drawings and understand technical requirements
• Liase with external and internal stakeholders including package leads and Project Engineers
• Experience working with construction teams
• High attention to detail
• The ability to monitor site works and regularly report on progress
• Very good verbal and written communication skills
• Carrying out audits and spot checks to ensure quality and compliance
• Proactively Identify, track and close defects to enable handover staged construction lots
• Assess and close non conformances

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and ensure the completion of the construction and commissioning activities.
• Monitor and control construction activities to ensure adherence to schedules.
• Collaborate with project engineers to ensure compliance with project standards and construction completion requirements.
• Identify and address any construction-related issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
• Propose and implement solutions to overcome challenges and ensure project continuity.
• Interface with clients to understand their requirements and address any concerns.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any deviations from quality standards.
• Maintain detailed records of project activities to facilitate the commissioning activities.
• Provide regular updates on project progress and address client feedback.

The Construction and Completions Engineer plays a pivotal role in overseeing and successfully completing project with a focus on structural, mechanical, and electrical aspects from construction to completion, including commissioning.
