The successful candidate will lead the construction of civil engineering projects, buildings and dwellings from planning to completion. We are looking for an individual with a proven track record of safety, efficiency and customer satisfaction. Benefits Full time permanent role with an annual salary of $167,500 -$180,000 depending on experience. Task & Responsibilities Interpreting architectural drawings and specifications. Preparing tenders and contract bids. Developing and implementing on-site work programs. Submitting plans to local authorities. Timely procurement of materials, plant and equipment for each project. Consulting and coordinating with all personnel involved in each project, including Architects, Engineers, other professionals and trade workers. Planning and coordinating resources, including labour and materials. Negotiating with building owners, property developers and subcontractors involved in the construction process Overseeing the standard and progress of subcontractors' work. Ongoing monitoring to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget Ensuring adherence to legislation, standards and best practice for quality and safety. Arranging building inspections by local authorities. Maximising client satisfaction. Qualification & Experience Required At least 5 years' experience in a similar role. Knowledge of relevant legislation, rules and regulations. Well-developed leadership, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills. Demonstrable track record in safety, quality control and assurance. Effective time management, budget management, prioritisation, and project management skills. Ability to work autonomously and lead a team.
