Construction Supervisor - ERA
- Several vacancies for Construction Supervisor, covering areas at site including general Site Services, demolition, and bulk material movements.
- The role is either based in Darwin based on a Bus in Bus out arrangement between Ranger Mine and Darwin, or locally based residential in Jabiru. Subsidised housing arrangements for Jabiru residents will be included.

About the roleWe are seeking several experienced
Construction Supervisors join our Project Execution team at our Ranger Rehabilitation site in Jabiru. The key responsibilities are to oversee operations within the assigned discipline or areas as well as ensuring assigned construction operations and subcontractors’ performance are in compliance with specifications and within schedules and budgets.Reporting to the Project Execution Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Supervising the safe planning and execution of construction activities
- Managing multi-disciplined contractors and suppliers
- Interfacing between multiple work groups
- Acting as a critical leader in the owner's team
- Participating in Planning workshops and Risk Assessments
- Liaising effectively with team members and stakeholders
- Planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction project activities to meet milestones
- Managing the contractor workforce which includes rosters and timesheets in order to fit the schedule
- Manage the projects and KPI's to effectively deliver the schedule
- Leading safety systems and safety programs
- Able to liaise collaboratively with all the stakeholders across the business
What you’ll bring
- Relevant trade certificate or degree
- Proven experience in successfully leading construction teams and successfully delivering construction packages
- A demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and team engagement
- A demonstrated understanding of mining safety procedures and risk management
- A working knowledge of SAP or equivalent CMMS
- Solid computer skills with competence in using Microsoft Office products

Who we areEnergy Resources of Australia Ltd (ERA) is a publicly listed company with Rio Tinto as its major shareholder. ERA, established in 1979, previously mined and produced uranium oxide from its Ranger mine in the beautiful and rugged Alligator Rivers area of the Northern Territory. The Ranger mine is located on Aboriginal land, surrounded by, but currently separate from, Kakadu National Park.ERA’s production operations on the Ranger Project Area ceased in January 2021, with the major focus now shifting to the comprehensive world-class rehabilitation of the Ranger mine that will eventually allow it to be incorporated back into the Kakadu National Park should the Traditional Owners and the Commonwealth Government wish. The Ranger Rehabilitation Project is the largest project of its kind in Australia and possibly the world. It is unique in that it is rehabilitating land in one of the world’s most culturally and environmentally sensitive locations, surrounded by the World Heritage-listed Kakadu National Park on the land of the Mirarr Traditional Owners, located three hours southeast of Darwin.Closing date: 2nd April 2024
