The role
You will identify opportunities for improvement, develops and deliver solutions to drive uplift in operational performance that deliver strategic (customer, colleague, risk, cost) benefits and ensure return on investment.
The role uses lean and agile approaches together with enterprise methodologies, tools, and standards to scope and deliver Transformation & Operational Excellence solutions within agreed timeframes and budget.
Your responsibilities
Leading and participating in squads in the identification, scoping and delivery of optimised solutions that will maximise customer and business value
Leveraging data and analytics to evaluate, plan and implement business improvements into People & Culture business units
Coaching & developing team members to deliver consistent and best practice optimisation disciplines and operational excellence insights
Supporting the build and delivery of operational management platforms into P&C
Working closely with Business Improvement and Commercial Operations team members to understand prioritised initiatives and drive performance outcomes
Working flexibly across a range of activities from “idea” stage to a delivered business solution to deliver financial / cost, customer, colleague, or risk mitigation benefits
The advanced data analysis and modelling, converting analysis into insights and recommendations
Developing appropriate materials to communicate and present opportunities for relevant stakeholders
Ensuring alignment to enterprise process methodologies, frameworks, standards, and tools (including Lean Six Sigma and Agile)
Coaching and training of colleagues to uplift their continuous improvement capability
Providing the P&C Leadership team with subject matter expertise and execute capability as needed
What you will need
5-10 years in a Business Optimisation / Improvement or Operational leadership role ideally within the Financial Services and/or Banking sectors
Experience using Workware tool in any capacity
Working knowledge of AOM methodology
Ability to work in complex environments across multiple streams with evolving timelines
Green Belt certified and experience applying the tools
Project delivery experience in an agile environment
Experience as a BA or Consultant with a track record delivering projects/changes
Advanced data analysis and problem solving skills
