The Facility
A statewide modern health service, 160-bed facility, delivering high-quality healthcare to the local community. The hospital provides a wide range of services in medical, surgical, and allied health specialties, both inpatient and outpatient. In Addition, they have a strong partnership with the University Rural Clinical School, and the secondary care facilities are affiliated with teaching hospitals, offering modern learning environments.
- Approximately 1000 births annually
- Experienced midwives oversee deliveries, with high-risk cases managed in collaboration with of state facilities
- The unit is complemented by a Level 4 Neonatal Unit
- 8-bed Level 4 Intensive Care Unit.
- Outreach services extend to picturesque regional centers
- Specialist or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia in a relevant specialty
