About The RoleThis position provides an exciting opportunity to join the Young Adults Diabetes team at Monash Childrens’ Hospital. The role will be responsible for the outpatient clinical management of patients designated to the Consultant as outlined on the clinic YADS Clinical Evaluation Sheet, including monitoring complication screening and identifying any other specific current medical or psychosocial issues. The successful candidate will report to the Department Head of the Paediatric Endocrinology & Diabetes Unit and will work in a multi-disciplinary team of paediatric and adult endocrinologists, junior medical staff, diabetes nurse educators, dietitians, social workers, podiatry and clinical psychologist.What we’re looking for in you:
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Appropriate health professional tertiary qualifications
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP)
- Excellent interpersonal skills, a strong team focus and an innovative approach
- Has the appropriate level of clinical knowledge and skills to undertake the role of Consultant
- Has the appropriate level of relevant clinical experience to undertake the specific role
