The Organisation
You will be working at a leading private hospital that has serviced the local region for over 100 years. The facility has 189 beds with highly experienced and skilled staff and the highest standard of healthcare. Services include medical, surgical, maternity, paediatric, emergency, cardiac and rehabilitation. Medical staff are supported by comprehensive allied health services and pathology, radiology and pharmacy are available on-site.
The Paediatric department has 12 beds and uses state-of-the-art equipment to assist you in providing the best treatment possible.
The Job
- As a Consultant Paediatrician, you will provide clinical management and exceptional paediatric care to patients
- You will actively participate in key initiatives that contribute to improvements in person-centred care
- You will demonstrate a professional commitment to other health care professionals by embracing a team approach to care and participating in organisational change
- You will have the opportunity to mentor and lead new staff, students and trainees
