Our love brands have a unique DNA that create meaningful connections with our customer.Mission: This role is responsible for implementing the Retail Excellence strategy for all brands (Prestige & Niche) ensuring perfect execution, visibility and image at all point of sales (POS), encompassing both permanent and temporary projects.Brands: Portfolio of Puig brands including but not limited to Rabanne, Jean Paul Gaultier, Carolina Herrera, Penhaligons, L'Artisan Parfumeur and Christian Louboutin Beauty.Specific Perimeter: Department Stores, Retail Specialists, Chemist and Stand Alone BoutiquesReporting Line: Senior Marketing Manager, OceaniaDirect Reports: Visual Merchandising ExecutiveWhat you'll get to doPermanent Visibility
  • Implement Retail Excellence for permanent spaces adapting the POS needs to the region
  • Oversee the design and implementation of permanent spaces both new store and refurbishment projects
  • Brief and manage projects from end to end; liaising with Global In-Store & Operational Marketing teams, along with CAPEX approval process
  • Oversee and coordinate project timelines and communicate internally with the brands and externally with retailers and suppliers
  • Accountable for counter construction projects and owner of the relationship with the retailers' teams from briefing to execution (selection & audit)
  • Own the relationship with local and overseas agencies for stand designs
  • Submit report/feedback to the Global In-Store team promptly and keep project database updated
  • Interact with the Global In-Store and Asia Pacific Retail team, and retailers for permanent visibility projects
  • Update of distribution database
  • Provide contractor training in stand construction guidelines during market visits
Temporary Visibility
  • Implement POS Excellence for temporary spaces adapting the POS needs to the region
  • Full understanding of the global brand strategy and POS guidelines and be responsible to deploy this to the region
  • Partner with Global In-Store team to ensure your proposals/layouts are in-line with the brands' launch concept/guidelines, and ensure the executions meet the brand's standards and ESG commitments
  • Prepare & validate layouts for all (launches, franchise activity, promotional sites) in coordination with the Marketing team
  • Support local initiatives/special projects and custom proposals upon requests
  • Evaluate the implementation and provide solutions for making improvements if needed
  • Submit report/feedback to the Global In-Store and Asia Pacific Retail team promptly and keep project database updated
  • Own the relationship with local and overseas agency for stand designs
  • Prepare & validate customised launch shelf layouts/planograms adapted to local market realities
  • Assess the need and work with Global In-Store team for local development
Visuals
  • Create & Communicate Merchandising and Visual guidelines
  • Manage/design layouts, counter showcards, digital layouts according to each brand's guidelines and client needs
  • Liaise with Global In-Store team for all daily work regarding visuals (e.g. ordering, rights, approval, adaptations etc.)
  • Manage visual local production
Administration & Reports
  • Responsible for POS material forecasts (forecasting tool - CPS)
  • Ownership of stand budget and investment in POS materials
  • Management of POSM purchase, distribution, tracking and obsoletes
  • Responsible for REX updates
  • Store check reports upon request
  • Bi-Annual Competitors Analysis (regular monitoring of key benchmarks and activities)
  • Provide market feedback and information to Global In-Store and Asia Pacific Retail team and measure impact of stand implementation on sales
  • Measure the region's In-Store success in designed materials and recommend continuous improvements
We'd love to meet you if you haveRequirements:Experience:
  • At least 5 to 8 years of experience in a similar position from the beauty or FMCG industry
  • Management of direct reports
  • Retail Environment expertise
Education:
  • Degree holder in Marketing / Business Administration / Graphic/Industrial Design / Architecture
Skills & Knowledge:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact well with key internal stakeholders and retail partners
  • Strong project management skills to complete tasks with accuracy and with attention to details.
  • Strong analytical skills, efficient, willingness to be hands-on, deadline oriented, and able to work under pressure
  • Good understanding of premium brand strategy and have an eye and keen interest in retail
  • Previous experience in specific fields mentioned above will be advantageous
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office, plus Photoshop and AutoCad will be highly regarde
Travel:
  • For this role, regional and international travel is predicted to be about 20% annually
