This position is for a dynamic and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist/ Senior Consultant Psychiatrist.The primary objective of this position is to provide high-quality clinical services in psychiatry at the Consultant or Senior Consultant level to the Top End Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs Service. Additionally, the successful candidate will actively participate in the activities of the Northern Territory Clinical School, with a focus on teaching psychiatry to medical students and contributing to the Post Graduate Psychiatry Training Program of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatry. The selection for either the Consultant (SC) or Senior Consultant (SSC) level will be based on the experience and qualifications of the successful applicant.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
* Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatry or equivalent postgraduate specialist qualification.
* Current registration to practice as a specialist in psychiatry with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), Medical Board of Australia.
