We are currently seeking a Consumer Services Coordinator.
ABOUT YOUR ROLE
Reporting into the General Manager of Marketing, the Consumer Services Coordinator is a dedicated role responsible for being the first point of contact for Consumer enquiries, as well as undertaking a variety of Marketing support tasks.
Specifically, this role is the first point of contact for visitors, consumers, customers, and suppliers of Sabrands by answering the phone, responding to emails, internet enquiries and social media posts.
This is a part time role based in South Melbourne opposite the market and the role offers flexibility with a hybrid work model. This role can be mostly done at home with attending the office in South Melbourne to catch up with the team on Thursdays. It is important for the successful candidate is able to work 5 days a week, Monday to Friday with 3 hours a day (15 hours a week), from 11am to 2pm. This is so queries and correspondence can be checked. This role may suit a candidate looking for a work life balance.
A summary of the role and responsibilities include:
- Consumer Services
- Day to day management of the consumer enquiries for all brands within Australia & New Zealand
- Answer and effectively manage phone calls from consumers regarding their enquiries or complaints
- Help Sabrands improve its responsiveness to consumers by ensuring all contacts are recorded and filed in our online database e.g. inputting all consumer contacts into online database WuFoo
- Summarise consumer enquiries in monthly report
- Promptly elevate any potential crisis management team (CMT) issues to CEO and GM Marketing
- Keep a detailed data log and minute actions for any Crisis Management & Critical Incident Issues
- Attend to consumer complaints and refunds
- Marketing Coordination
- On occasion assist the Marketing & Export Sales team with various tasks – e.g. preparing and sending samples to customers
- Assist with competitor product assessments – including taste test/panels (food & beverage) and effectiveness tests (cleaning)
To the successful in this role, your skills and experience will include:
Essential Experience:
- Experience in a customer/consumer contact role
- Experience as part of a marketing, customer service or administration team
- Experience dealing directly with Customers & Consumers
- Preferred experience using & monitoring social media (Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok)
- Proven administration skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Flexible and adaptable to changing of priorities and requirements
- Strong attention to detail and “can do attitude”
- Passionate about brands
- Strong Interpersonal skills and ability to manage difficult conversations and problem solving
