We’re looking for people who want to help Queenslanders right now! In response to the SEQ weather events we need people who can provide support and assistance to those affected. We are urgently looking people who can start immediately to be the voice of support as Insurance Claims Consultants for a Queensland based insurer.

About the role: *
- As a Customer Service Officer within the Claims team, you will:
- Provide unsurpassed customer service
- Manage a high volume of calls
- Work to continuously improve cycle times and customer query resolution to improve the overall customer experience.
- Meet agreed team targets and KPIs to achieve planned business objectives.
About you:
- Previous customer service experience
- Resilient & able to show empathy to customers whilst assisting them through tough times.
- Highly developed written communication and clear & concise verbal communication with the ability to communicate effectively across all areas of business.
- Competent working knowledge and ability to adapt to new online systems.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.

We are open to conversations with candidates that may have 6 months, 10 years or 40 years experience in customer service roles, whether that’s in retail, hospitality, insurance, banking, finance, education etc - any industry experience is relevant! The core of the role will be your interpersonal skills and ability to empathise and support people through the service cycle.
