Novita provides early intervention, rehabilitation, therapy, assistive technology and disability services to more than 6,000 people living with disability, as well as support for their families and carers. Our primary purpose is to enable kids, young people, and adults living with disability and their families to participate in the community to their full potential.
About the role
The Content Creator is responsible for supporting the development of and delivering a wide range of digital communications strategies and initiatives and to promote the Novita brand and sub-brands across digital channels.
This is a full time, permanent role based in our modern office at Hindmarsh. WFH option can be negotiated for some days, but work requires presence in office on most occasions to capture photos and video content.
As our Content Creator, your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead digital marketing initiatives across three key areas - social media, email campaigns, and website management.
- Conduct comprehensive reporting and analysis across all three channels to track performance and inform future initiatives.
- Work with the Digital Marketing and Content Manager and wider digital marketing team to create compelling campaigns that achieve growth targets and promote brand awareness.
- Build and maintain Novita’s social media presence (mainly Novita and NovitaTech) to engage with our community, promote advocacy, facilitate regular/active conversations, and provide high-quality customer service including prompt replies to questions and comments.
- Create digital/shareable content that entertains, educates, and ultimately converts leads into clients and customers.
- Manage and maintain Novita’s WordPress-based websites (Novita, NovitaTech, Novita Housing and Novita Health) and the SharePoint-based intranet platform, UNITE.
- Work with external agencies and contractors to update websites and create excellent UX/UI as necessary.
About you
While previous employment experience is not essential, our ideal candidate:
- Holds or is studying towards a tertiary qualification in Marketing, Media, Communications, or a related discipline
- Has some experience in:
- a marketing role, preferably with a not-for-profit organisation
- creative content development and marketing, communications, and online analytics
- co-ordinating research activities
- has used a CRM like SalesForce or similar
- Can demonstrate exceptional interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
- Is highly organised, flexible, and proactive, with the ability to respond to continually changing priorities.
In line with mandates relevant to our sector, you must have received three doses of the COVID-19 vaccine (or hold a valid exemption). If you don’t already hold a current NDIS Worker Check and DHS Working with Children Check, we’ll let you know how to obtain these prior to commencing employment with Novita.
Based at our Hindmarsh office, you will enjoy access to the on-site Grounds for Growth café.
Essential Requirements
- Valid driving licence and willingness to use own vehicle for travel
- NDIS worker screening, DHS Working with Children and Criminal History Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Fully vaccinated from COVID-19 (Novita mandate).
Remuneration Package and Benefits
Total remuneration package includes base salary, annual leave loading and statutory superannuation contribution. Enjoy salary packaging up to $15,900 of your salary, increasing your take-home pay by approximately $5,000. Further salary-packaging benefits available include meal and entertainment expenses, accommodation and venue hire, private novated leasing and additional superannuation contributions.
