Eligibility: Open to EveryoneWe have an opportunity for a Content Editor to be part of our Industry, Strategy and Partnerships Division within the Department of Primary Industries and Regions.The Content Editor uses their expertise to enhance user engagement with PIRSA’s websites and intranet, delivering creative, engaging content and user experience that leverages understanding of user interaction, information accessibility, data insights, user behaviour and website best-practice. The position is required to apply expertise in content design and development to meet digital service standards and provide users with the information they need, at the time its needed and in the format they expect.The role contributes to the agency’s priorities and objectives by ensuring information and services are accessible, searchable, and easy to interact with. The Content Editor works with business areas across the agency and has strong project leadership, planning and organisational skills, problem-solving skills, and an ability to use good judgement and expertise under limited guidance. Exceptional skills and experience are required in digital user experience, including undertaking user research, and using data to inform digital content, writing, editing, and proofreading for digital channels, as well as an expertise in web publishing and content management systems.The position reports to the Senior Digital Services Partner and works closely with the broader Communication Branch to deliver best practice communications across various digital platforms, enhancing existing content and developing new content.About UsSouth Australia is internationally recognised for the quality of its agriculture, food, and wine.   • Successful applicant will be required to satisfactorily complete a National Police Check (NPC) prior to being made an offer of employment.
  • Australian residency or current works permit is required (responsibility of applicant to provide evidence of a current work permit).

  • Desirable: Tertiary qualifications majoring in communication-related disciplines or commensurate experience in a related role.

  • Possession of a current driver’s license and willingness to drive.
  • Out of hours work and inter / intrastate travel may be required.
  • You acknowledge your work, health and safety obligations and our expectations.
  • The incumbent will be required to undertake emergency management training and must be willing to participate in emergency preparedness, response and recovery activities required by government
