Reporting to the Senior Brand and Content Manager the Content Planning Executive is responsible for the development of the content roll-out strategy across owned channels including social and digital, in line with overarching brand and campaign strategies.
Working closely with the Social Specialist, this role will work collaboratively across broader marketing teams, PR, Event and Partnership teams. They will be responsible for delivering the most effective content, creative formats, and distribution plan for respective campaigns.
The role sits within the Integrated Marketing team.
Areas of Responsibility:
Campaigns:In partnership with the broader Integrated Marketing teams:
Under the direction of the Senior Brand and Content Manager, lead the creation of content and delivery plans for respective campaigns; utilising global assets and developing local content as required
Cascade internal strategies into social and owned channel executions
Lead ideation sessions, generating innovative social content and driving collaboration with cross lines of business
Briefing internal creative teams or external agencies as needed for localisation of global assets or development of local content
Develop owned channel campaign content calendars and ensure cross company alignment
Responsible for internal campaign documents respective to owned social and digital channels.
Capture content at live events for owned social channels
Identify key third-party content collaborators and manage the execution end to end
Deliver a post campaign analysis for respective campaigns for owned social and digital and disseminate to relevant stakeholders and ensure the agreed learnings are actioned within future campaigns
StrategyIn supporting the Senior Brand and Content Manager:
Contribute to and execute the social brand strategy through content production and planning
Monitor social trends, tools, and applications to ensure that TWDC is first to market with key trends that will drive growth in engagement and conversion
Management:
Approval of creative materials by relevant stakeholders including brand, campaign leads and global teams
Report preparation as required and directed
Manage the content production budget for respective campaigns
SAP – all aspects including generation of POs and effective invoice and payment processing
Experience and Professional Qualifications Required
Essential:
Tertiary qualified in Business/Commerce or Marketing
Strong understanding of social media and experience managing social campaigns
Intermediate understanding of media with experience dealing with agencies
A minimum of 3 years Administrative/Finance/Commerce/Marketing experience in a corporate environment
Sound project management experience
Proficiency in Google Slides and Keynote
Desired:
Demonstrated success with brands utilising social media as a core platform
Demonstrated knowledge of digital performance media, planning and execution
