AddressWe're seeking a suitably qualified Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our Bristile Roofing site in Dandenong, Victoria.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for process improvement initiatives of the plant and support functions with the aim of optimising the use of resources, minimise costs and maintain safety, quality and customer service standards.

Duties include but are not limited to
- Lead the implementation, adoption and compliance of best practice production processes and procedures.
- Use LEAN tools and techniques to analyse machine and production data action improvements to increase OEE and improve safety and quality.
- Ensure all activities are conducted in a safe manner, compliant with WHSE policies and procedures.
- Develop capital project justifications based on expected benefit.
- Engage all employees to undertake Continuous Improvement activities to drive cultural change.
- Post implementation audit of projects to establish expected benefit has been achieved.
- Work hand in hand with maintenance team to improve reliability of production machinery.
- Review, standardise and improve standard operating procedures.
- Assist the Dandenong Plant Manager as required.
Success Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering (Process, Mechanical or Electrical) or relevant discipline.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with all levels.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in problem-solving methodologies.
- Expertise in project management.
