Role Overview: As an Occupational Therapist with us, you will play a vital role in the health and well-being of our community members. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough physical assessments, provide recommendations on therapy aids, and suggest necessary home modifications. Your expertise will help our clients achieve greater independence and improve their quality of life. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physical assessments of clients to identify their needs and capabilities.
- Develop and implement personalized therapy plans to address clients' specific challenges.
- Recommend appropriate therapy aids and equipment to support clients' daily activities.
- Suggest and oversee home modifications to ensure a safe and accessible living environment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
- Educate clients and their families on the use of therapy aids and modifications.
- Monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current registration with the relevant Occupational Therapy Board or Association.
- Proven experience in conducting physical assessments and recommending therapy aids and home modifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently.
