A company with over 30 years of experience in civil construction and transport in the Northern Territory is now seeking a Contract Manager/Estimator to replace a manager retiring. We are looking for someone with experience in contract management and estimation to join this company. This role will involve liaising with all other branches of the company (Quarry, Concrete, and Transport).
About the Role
- Formulating and executing contract management strategies and protocols;
- Evaluating and dissecting project specifications and demands;
- Crafting and presenting precise and competitive bids and proposals;
- Negotiating terms and conditions of contracts with clients and suppliers;
- Tracking project advancement and fiscal performance;
- Resolving contractual disputes and matters promptly and effectively;
- Offering counsel and assistance to project teams regarding contractual affairs;
- Ensuring adherence to all legal and regulatory mandates; and
- Supervising the Estimating team.
About You
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role within the civil construction, transport, quarry, or asphalt industries;
- Problem-solving skills are essential; and
- Able to communicate effectively and work in a team environment.
