Contractor Drivers - Immediate Start

CouriersPlease is Australia’s fastest growing courier and parcel delivery service, providing shipping solutions for E-Commerce vendors and business customers across Australia. 

As a result of significant growth in our business, CouriersPlease urgently needs a team of people interested in becoming  Contract Drivers. This opportunity offers an Immediate Start, a 5 day working week with weekend work available at times, and a daily rate of $368.75+GST for work in set runs. We have “per consignment” work also available and this may be offered during the training period.

The role:

Working from a central depot at Marleston, the role of a Contract Driver involves using your van for parcel pickup and delivery within an assigned territory, which may vary according to our business needs. Your communication and customer service skills will be paramount in nurturing customer relationships and helping to expand the existing business within the territory. Work is fulltime, 5 days with a regular income flow.

Reliable attendance, safety awareness and the ability to commit to regular hours are essential, as well as the physical fitness to manage the routine handling and processing of a variety of parcel types. As you will be representing the CouriersPlease brand, we’ll provide you with a polo shirt and magnetic brand identification for your vehicle.

You don’t need previous experience and you can apply to start your journey as a Contract Driver now. Training will be provided, with weekly earnings paid through direct deposit into your nominated account 14 days in arrears.

 Successful applicants must have:

• A current Drivers Licence
• An ABN  
• Unrestricted work rights
• A clear criminal history
• Professionally presented delivery vehicle, either owned or rented 
•  A current Work Cover Policy (if using an ACN)
• Public liability insurance
•  A statement of fitness
