This well-established Allied Health owned DVA rehabilitation provider is currently seeking an experienced Rehabilitation Consultant (Psychologist, Rehabilitation Counsellor, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist or Social Worker) to conduct assessment and provide case management services to DVA clients.

The role will involve:
- Case management for Department of Veterans Affairs Clientele with physical and/or psychological conditions
- Assessment of DVA clients’ rehabilitation needs.
- Create and implement individual rehabilitation plans to promote successful transition from Australian Defence Force to civilian life.
- Coordination of return-to-work plans and non-return to work plans
- Deliver evidence-based early intervention and occupational rehabilitation services
- Liaison with key stakeholders within a multidisciplinary clinical context.
- High-level reporting
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology or Social Work with registration with relevant boards such as AHPRA, RCAA, ASORC, ESSA or AASW
- Injury Management experience gained within an occupational rehabilitation setting.
- Commcare accreditation and experience working with DVA clients is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Rapport building and time management skills
- ABN & Professional Indemnity Insurance
- A current driver’s licence and your own car
