Your new company
This civil contractor has a history of delivering exceptionally large and complex infrastructure projects across Australia. They have a particular penchant for complex road & structure projects, and due to successfully securing a major project in Townsville, they are seeking a Contractors Quality Representative (CQR) to work with the Quality Manager to ensure the project is delivered to specification.
Your new role
As the CQR your main duties will be:
Comprehend and implement the requirements of the Quality Management System.
Execute Systems Quality Procedures effectively.
Ensure construction activities adhere to the Quality Management Plan (QMP).
Identify and rectify non-conforming products as per the QMP.
Communicate with client representatives regarding quality matters and approvals.
Coordinate with engineers and supervisors to ensure comprehensive documentation of quality processes.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful you will:
Hold tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering recognised by Engineers Australia
Demonstrated experience on a TMR project as the quality engineer.
Thorough understanding of TMR Policies & Procedures.
Ability to manage progress claims for TMR jobs.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver's licence.
What you'll get in return
In return, you receive an attractive remuneration package based on your demonstrated quality experience, circa $90,000 - $130,000 + Superannuation + Project Allowances + Project Bonuses.
