Contracts and Cost Control on New Mining Construction Project
This resources company has an exciting opportunity for a Contracts Officer who can also provide Cost Control assistance on a major project.
We are looking for someone to start at short notice to support the Contracts and Procurement team. Based in Perth CBD there will be opportunity to work from home once you are up and running.
Duties:
- Maintaining appropriate document control systems ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
- Providing efficient, accurate and timely contract administration support.
- Managing the preparation and submission of monthly invoices and maintenance reports.
- Timely investigation and resolution of contractual and invoicing discrepancies.
- Proactively and effectively managing internal and external queries by building trust and anticipating and responding to internal and external stakeholder needs.
Skills required:
- Thorough knowledge of Contracts (ideally projects)
- Previous experience as Contracts Officer / Cost Controller, ideally in the resources industry
- Excellent IT skills, numeracy, and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills.
This role is offered on a contract basis and will continue for a minimum of 12 months for the right person.
