Now is the time to join the Forest Products Commission as we reposition for the future!

Over the next two years the FPC is preparing to undergo a major transformation as a result of changes to forest policy. With the upcoming new Forest Management Plan 2024 -2033, the FPC will transition from commercial scale native forestry to a focus on ecological thinning and increased plantation development activity, supported by the government investment of $350 million into softwood plantations.

Working within a smaller government agency you will have the opportunity to make a greater impact and feel truly satisfied when you contribute directly to the outcomes of the FPC. About the role

This position supports business system and process improvement within the Operations Division through the initiation and development of contract documentation, reporting systems and performance monitoring as well as co-ordinating compliance activities to meet the requirements of EMS (ISO14001) and the Sustainable Forest Management Standard.

This position also provides an opportunity to participate in fire management activities.
