Reporting into Director Portfolio Management, the Contract Manager will lead the management of large-scale capital energy infrastructure projects, influencing project outcomes through expert contract and program controls management.
Key Responsibilities:
As Contracts Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing contracts for large capital infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities will include:
Establishing and maintaining collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Utilizing your 5-10 years of experience in the construction and engineering industry, with a focus on build, own, operate, and maintain contracts.
Serving as a key figure in contract and commercial management, providing expert advice during bid development and project delivery.
Managing contracts for significant capital projects, ensuring governance and adherence to project controls.
Networking effectively within multi-disciplinary matrixed teams, showcasing your highly developed interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Required Skills and Experience:
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or extensive experience in a capital-intensive industry.
Deep relevant experience as a Contracts Manager or Commercial Manager.
Proven expertise in negotiating and managing contracts for large infrastructure projects.
In-depth knowledge of contracting and subcontracting principles, cost control, forecasting, and risk management.
Extensive experience in the preparation and close-out of construction claims.
Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and changing environment.
