Form of workAn opportunity exists for a Contracts Specialist to join GPC Asia Pacific, global leader in automotive aftermarket products, in the procurement team based in our support office in Rowville.
The role will join an already established team in leading procurement activities across the different categories.

What will your day look like?
- Work across a diverse range of direct spend, automotive, categories supporting the Procurement Manager in ensuring supplier contracts are optimized and up to date.
- Conduct commercial negotiations with suppliers.
- Project manage new and renewing contracts - including data mining & planning with Merchandise, supplier engagement & negotiation, legal support, execution, and implementation throughout the business.
- Data extraction and analysis while providing recommendations and reporting.
- Hybrid work arrangement once established in role.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Demonstrated experience with supplier contracts across a wide variety of direct categories, consistently delivering procurement gains.
- Experience in a fast paced, high volume environment ideal.
- Highly developed negotiation skills
- Sound understanding of contract/commercial law.
- Expert level Excel skills
- Strong commercial acumen
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders, manage projects and meet deadlines
