As an IT Controls Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our IT control systems and frameworks. This position requires a deep understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity measures, and regulatory compliance, as well as the ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IT control systems and strategies to enhance operational efficiency and security.
- Monitor and maintain control systems to ensure they meet or exceed regulatory compliance standards such as SOX, GDPR, and ISO.
- Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to identify vulnerabilities and implement preventive measures.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of IT controls to identify areas of improvement.
- Develop and maintain documentation for IT control systems, policies, and procedures.
- Provide training and support to IT staff on control systems and compliance requirements.
- Work closely with external auditors and compliance officers during audits and assessments.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, best practices, and industry trends in IT control and compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) as an IT Controls Engineer, Systems Engineer, or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity principles.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks and standards such as SOX, GDPR, ISO, etc.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively in a team environment.
