We are looking for an experienced candidate with proven success in installation and testing of HVAC units both electrical and mechanical. This also includes motors, fans, humidifiers, air filters and trend BMS controls. The day-to-day of the role includes:
- Preparation and reading of drawings, plans and diagrams of electrical installations and circuitry,
- Installation of electrical cabling and control circuitry of HVAC units, motor control systems, humidification systems and air dampers.
- specifying, sizing and installation of air filters
- managing and estimating materials costs and quantities
- mechanical and electrical installation of HVAC systems
- maintaining and repairing HVAC systems to conform to the relevant regulations and safety requirements
- Periodic electrical testing of the internal electrical systems within the HVAC units
- Liase with both mechanical and electrical contractors onsite to ensure design is correctly implemented
- control system and electrical system fault diagnostics
- trend BMS control system design, installation and strategy programming
- Pre commission and fully commissioning the internal trend BMS control system
- calibrate internal sensors including temperature, humidity and water flow etc.
- complete clients system test to prove correct operation of complete HVAC system
