Our Opportunity
To support our ongoing growth, Nepean Conveyors NSW are currently seeking a Conveyor Technician to join our team. The position is a full-time permanent opportunity, based in our nearest design and manufacturing facility located in either Gulgong, Bathurst or Lithgow.
Daily duties will include but are not limited to.
- You will support our existing customer base supplying prompt and effective support for:
- Belt inspection.
- Installation
- Maintenance activities
- Ensure areas of concern, unresolved issues are reported to the area coordinator for further support.
- Develop and maintain and apply high level of knowledge for site service activities.
The Right Person
To be considered for this opportunity, the right person will have:
- Certificate III in Polymer Processing – or in the process of obtaining.
- Ability to fulfill the inherent physical takes required for this job – which will include repetitive lifting of weights up to 25kgs.
- Underground black coal experience preferable.
- Dogging certification or willingness to obtain.
- Working at height certification or willingness to obtain.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain.
- Full Driver License. (Class C)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to strategically evaluate and solve complex problems.
