The Trustee for Jasren Family Trust t/a Jasren Enterprises Pty Ltd seeks a full time Cook for its busy establishment at Century Inn Traralgon.
Salary - $ 70,000k Plus Supernnaution
Your tasks will be to:
· Measure and mix ingredients according to recipe, using kitchen utensils and equipment
· Prepare, season and cook foods such as soups, meats, vegetables and desserts
· Adjusts controls to regulate temperature of broilers, ovens and grills
· Observe and test foods tasting, smelling, and piercing with fork
· Determine how to present food
· Portions food on plates and add sauces and garnishes
· Estimate food requirements
· Ensure uniform serving sizes and quality
· Check freshness of food and ingredients
· Inspect equipment and work areas for functionality and cleanliness
· Follow kitchen safety standards
Key Selection Criteria:
· At least three years of full time work experience or an AQFIV and more than two years as a cook
· Experience in preparing, cooking, presenting and plating food
· Able to work under pressure
