AddressThe Shire of Exmouth has an exciting opportunity for an operational leader to join our team on a full-time basis.
We are looking for a motivated and experienced aviation specialist to coordinate the Learmonth Airport and Exmouth Aerodrome operations and who can ensure all the Shire meets is statutory and regulatory requirements.
The responsibilities of this key role may include, but are not limited to, overseeing the day-to-day aviation operations, leading and supporting our dedicated Aviation Officer team and developing an open and energetic communications culture within the team. Along with the Manager Airport Operations, this role will provide effective communications with, and position
the Shire to meet the expectations of, our stakeholder group which includes, heliport clients, airlines, ground services providers and regulatory agencies as well as RAAF Learmonth.
The successful applicant will need to possess knowledge and experience in airport and heliport operations, as well as comprehensive Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) knowledge and skills relevant to the position. They will be a good problem solver who can calmly adapt to last minute changes and make decisions under pressure when required.
The Coordinator Airport Operations – ARO role will be offered to the successful candidate on a full-time basis. This position is classified as Level 8/9 under the Shire of Exmouth Enterprise Agreement 2017 (appointment salary is dependent on level of skills and experience).

The total remuneration package is up to $117,600 with a salary base of $82,419 to $85, 798 (subject to future pay increase)
