The Role
This key position – Coordinator Employee Experience – reporting to the Head of People and Culture, is responsible for leading a team of eight Human Resource professionals across the areas of Workforce Strategy, Engagement and Culture and Learning and Development. A key element of this position is the ability to foster and champion a culture of innovation and improvement within the team and the wider organisation.
Functionally the role’s key responsibilities include leading and manage the engagement, culture, internal communications, learning, continuous improvement, growth and succession planning of the Camden Employee Experience. Additionally you will assist the Head of People and Culture in relation to achieving Council’s Strategic and Management Plan directions.
About You
As a highly regarded Human Resources professional, you will have a track history of leading people and teams through periods of change and growth, building cultures that you are proud of and being firmly focused on outcomes.
Familiarity of relevant legislation within the Local Government context is preferred, as is demonstrated knowledge of key areas such as employee engagement, culture, organisational development and change management, internal communications, workforce management strategic project delivery, systems and Learning and Development.
As would be expected of such a role, well developed communication skills are essential, as is the ability to develop effective partnerships across the organisation.
Lastly, the position will suit an individual who is passionate about people and in delivering best in class services for the community.
It is further expected that the successful applicant will hold relevant tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.
