WHO WE ARE:Gippsland PHN is a not for profit charity that works at a regional level to achieve improved whole of system health care. Our vision is for a Measurably Healthier Gippsland.
We work closely with the primary health care system, identifying opportunities to improve health outcomes in Gippsland communities. We do this through health system improvement programs, and by commissioning services to address local health needs via our regional commissioning role.
We aim to:
- ensure health issues are prioritised, understood and invested in; using local strengths;
- build and support local capability in primary health care professionals;
- enable transparent communication and information exchange across the primary health care sector; and
- improve access in primary health services particularly for those at risk of poor health outcomes, and where gaps exist in hard to reach locations.
Coordinator Insights
Are you interested in supporting internal and external reporting capacity through embedding critical thinking to develop insights that drive strategy and demonstrate impact?
We currently have a full time (1.0FTE) career opportunity available as a Coordinator Insights, reporting to the Manager Digital Health and Integration. The Coordinator Insights is responsible for translating data into a format that demonstrates impact and outcomes. The portfolio supports the organisation in transforming raw data into actionable insights, presenting complex information in a meaningful, easy to understand way. This role also influences internal business reporting functions to ensure they are optimised for actionable insights that enable strategic decision making across the organisation.
We are looking for an astute, agile, dynamic, outcomes focused team member. Use your skills to complete work packages including but not limited to:
- Managing, integrating and interpreting multiple and large data sets and written information to extract meaningful insights and trends;
- Translate findings into understandable and actionable recommendations through the use of appropriate tools and systems;
- Monitor and implement industry best practices and emerging technologies to compliment Gippsland PHN’s business intelligence capabilities;
- Collaborate in the development of enhanced datasets and tools to best inform Gippsland PHN decision making and actions;
- Write professional reports and documents;
- Coordinate the administration of quarterly Business Plan and Strategic Dashboard reporting;
- Contribute to the progress of the Gippsland PHN Business Intelligence Strategy; and
- Implement automation solutions to streamline reporting processes and increase efficiency.
