We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and passionate People and Culture Coordinator to join our team on a part-time basis. Reporting to the Director of People and Culture, this highly autonomous role is an integral part of the business in delivering no fuss, high quality HR support to internal teams aligning with our Values.
You will be primarily based at our head office in Vermont, with potential travel to our other sites within metro Melbourne. A combination of on-site and working from home is also an option.
The role will involve you to:
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal teams
- Support the recruitment administration process, including screening candidates, reference checks, and then onboarding new hires
- Maintain accurate HR records and administration, including filing, updates of forms, spreadsheets, checklists, templates, correspondence, other HR-related documents via various MS Office applications including SharePoint
- Assist the Director of P&C with compliance ensuring mitigation of risks
- Coordination of annual employee appraisals and tracking of probation periods
- Assist in Workplace Health and Safety related matters and maintaining/updating relevant records as required
- Assist with populating the monthly HR Report
- Participate in counselling and disciplinary procedures relating to staff performance/or conduct where required
- Administrative maintenance of the Training/Learning Portal ensuring records are up to date
- Coordinate offboarding process
- Other ad-hoc HR tasks as required
The ideal applicant will also be/have:
- Ideally will have, or be studying towards, related tertiary qualifications, or have a strong interest in pursuing a career in HR
- Previous experience in a HR/People & Culture Coordination/Admin role desired but not essential
- Proven administration skills
- Great communication and relationship building skills
- Be a strong team player and work autonomously
- Proactive with a positive attitude
- Neat and highly organised with ability to prioritise
- Highly efficient with a meticulous attention to detail
- Possess a high level of integrity as this role requires discretion
- Experienced in using MS Office applications
