About the Role

We are seeking a talented individual to take on the role of Coordinator Maintenance Execution based within our Operations Services Maintenance team.

The Role will be supporting the OS WAIO Pulley and Gearbox deployment. The role will be offered on a 8/6/7/7 FIFO or Residential in Newman Opportunity.

Reporting directly to the OS Superintendent Maintenance, in these roles you will have the opportunity to add real value to maintenance, guiding improvement activity, transforming services and supporting our people.

Your duties will include:

  • Foster positive & productive working relationships and team culture
  • Set and maintain clear safety standards within the leadership team.
  • Lead safety investigations and risk assessments
  • Build capability through coaching, mentoring and provide technical advice and support OS maintenance teams.
  • Lead and support continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Timely data collation, analysis and sharing of key work management metrics.

About You

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Strong communication skills and a track record of achieving results through using your influence.
  • The ability to successfully lead and work within a team environment and build effective working relationships.
  • Flexible, team-orientated approach with strong communications skills
  • Experience within Fixed Plant shutdown and weekly outages across all bulk material handling components
  • Strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement with the demonstrated ability to identify these opportunities.
  • Experience or a fast learner with work management software tools (e.g. 1SAP)
  • Experience gained in a shutdown environment would be advantageous.
  • Demonstrated computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
  • +7 Years Experience across Conveyor Components including Gearbox, Motor, Pulleys and Conveyor Belts.
  • Demonstratable experience as a Maintenance Coordinator within a fixed plant maintenance department
  • An Australian Recognised Trade Certificate and +10 years maintenance experience or Engineering Degree and/or Relevant Tertiary Qualifications
  • Minimum of C class manual drivers' licence
