AddressBrisbane Girls Grammar School is seeking a suitably experienced and qualified Coordinator of Water Polo.
The Coordinator, in collaboration with the Director of Sport, provides guidance and support to the seasonal coaches involved in delivering the School’s Water Polo Program.
As the link between the School, coaches, students, parent support groups and local bodies such as BWPI and WPQ, the Coordinator oversees the implementation of a strategic plan that focuses on developing students and coaches while maintaining an appropriate profile for the sport.
The Coordinator will be engaged for approximately 30 hours per week in the lead-up and across the Water Polo season. Pay and conditions will be determined by the experience and qualifications of the appointed person.
This position requires flexibility in working hours, including weekends and term breaks, and may involve attending tournaments.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of Workplace Health and Safety Regulations as they apply to Water Polo activities
- Demonstrate leadership capacity with excellent organisation skills
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills, in particular, the ability to relate to adolescent girls and their parents
- Possess technological literacy across a range of applications
- Ability to liaise professionally with staff, students, parents and other colleagues
- Demonstrate outstanding professional presentation and manner
- Hold a current senior First-Aid Certificate
- Hold a valid Working with Children (Blue Card) positive notice
- Knowledge of the BWPI competition structure and rules (desirable)
