Job description

We are seeking an experienced, dedicated and highly passionate Outside School Hours Care Coordinator to lead our service, Little Flower Outside School Hours Care at Kedron on a permanent, part-time basis (35 hours per week) working across Monday to Friday. 
 
Little Flower Junior Outside School Hours Care has been running at St Anthony’s Primary School for 13 years.

Little Flower has approval to care for 130 children and we are committed to providing a quality service where the children’s physical, emotional and social needs are met in a safe, caring and supportive environment.

We aim to respond to family needs by providing full-time, part-time and casual care. Our service is made available to all families who attend St Anthony’s School and the wider community.

Our service respects diversity and culture as well as fostering safe, supportive relationships between staff and children. The service encourages parents, staff and children to be involved in all aspects of the program. The OSHC hosts nibble and natter nights, to talk through issues and provides opportunities to get to know each other.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day to day operations of the service including staffing, administration and financial management tasks.
  • Oversee the delivery of a high quality, inclusive and educational program.
  • Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment.
  • Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
  • Promote the service within the local community in accordance with the Vision, Mission and Values of Catholic Early EdCare.
