The Role:
As the Coordinator of Parking, Local Laws, and Animal Management, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring regulatory compliance and community safety. Reporting to the Manager of Emergency Management and Regulatory Services, your responsibilities encompass spearheading a team culture rooted in innovation and customer focus. You'll lead by example, championing workplace values of respect, integrity, and accountability. Driving strategic compliance initiatives and modernizing departmental practices and processes will be crucial, along with providing expert advice and managing high-profile cases in collaboration with senior leadership. Your role extends to ensuring exemplary customer service delivery through proactive engagement and responsiveness, as well as efficiently managing rosters and task allocation to meet service requirements. Additionally, you'll oversee contract management and vendor agreements related to parking services and Local Laws enforcement, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing value for the organization.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, you'll have proven leadership or managerial experience, preferably within a local government or regulatory environment. Demonstrated expertise in parking regulations, animal management, and Local Laws enforcement is essential. Strong understanding of customer service principles and experience in delivering exemplary customer experiences is required, along with proficiency in roster management and task allocation to ensure efficient resource utilization. A related tertiary qualification will be looked at positively in the selection process but not mandatory. Holding a current Victorian Driver's License and Working with Children Check, with no relevant criminal record found in a Police Check, is necessary.
